Your website says you are a curly hair boutique. What does that mean?
We specialize in every awesome hair-care product, and cutting/coloring/styling techniques under the sun for curly hair. Whether you have curly hair, you’re transitioning from straight hair, or you like keeping your curlies straight, we have what works. And yes, we do the straight-hair thing too.
If I order online, how long does it take to receive the products?
Any order that is received by 12 noon EST, will be shipped out that same day. Orders received after 12 noon EST, will be shipped out the next business day. All orders are shipped via USPS Ground and will arrive to you in 3-7 business days. Overnight delivery is available and additional charges for that service will be added to cover shipping costs. All orders are shipped Monday-Friday only.
What is your return policy?
Please note that all sales are final. Curltopia will accept an in-store exchange on unopened and unused merchandise within fourteen days of purchase date.

Yes. Not only are we a retail store for curly-girl hair care products, but we also offer full styling services.

We do any cutting/coloring/styling techniques under the sun for curly hair. Whether you have curly hair, you’re transitioning from the straight-hair thing, or you like keeping your curlies straight, we do what works: cut, color, highlights, roller sets, blowouts, wash & wear, two strand twist, shingling, coils, straw sets, lock maintenance, relaxer, texturizer, and much more! And yes, we do the straight-hair thing too!
What is a keratin smoother?
With your hush-hush weekly blowouts, you've let friends think your mane is
naturally silky smooth. This three hour straightening process entails multiple
shampoos, saturation with a coconut-scented keratin protein tonic, a blowdry,
and a thorough flat-ironing. Unlike other relaxers, keratin is natural and
actually nourishes your tresses. You can even apply atop color. With each
treatment, the build up of Keratin makes the hair softer, silkier, straighter,
and shinier. This service also reduces daily styling time by making it easier to

What is shingling?
Shingling is a styling method developed to manually turn kinks to curls. We
can achieve maximum curl definition and elongation by capturing your hair in the
wet stage, applying the styling product, using a comb to spread the product form
root to end and stretching the hair. It is called shingling because it looks
like flat shingles in a brick-layered pattern. This styling method is excellent
for naturally kinky textures.
What is finger-styling?
Finger-styling is a curly styling technique. We apply styling product with our
fingers while hair is wet and detangled from root to end. Typically, we will dry
your hair under an overhead. Finger-styling works on most hair types that have
texture (curl, kink or wave) but will not work on 'z' pattern textures, straight
or relaxed hair.
